Virtual Science University is aligned to the Texas Biology TEKS. The STAAR Preparation for the End of Course Exam in Biology requires that the instruction be aligned to the 2010 Texas Biology TEKS. When a lesson opens up, the objective that appears is a National Science Education Standard. When you go to the lecture description under the listing of Lessons, you will see the NSES Objective and directly underneath, you will see Texas TEKS underneath. They are label as Texas TEKS with the individual objective number. This will help Texas Teachers document their instruction on their Lesson Plans.
